West Tennessee Animal Rescue operates a Low Cost Spay & Neuter Program called 'SNIP' (Spay Neuter Initiative Program) for the West Tennessee public. Owners who can not afford to have their pets spayed or neutered can complete an APPLICATION
for this program and mail it to the address on the form, along with a check or money order for required fee amount written to: West TN Animal Rescue. Please also include a self-addressed, stamped envelope so we can send your voucher to you.
NOTE: Complete the application entirely and remember to include the required fee.

INCOME VERIFICATION to qualify for the non-refundable per pet reduced fee of $30.00 or $50.00 is INCLUDE ONE of the FOLLOWING (If you choose not to send income verification you can pay the $75.00 fee):

    >COPY OF 2013 or 2014 IRS 1040 or 1040EZ with 'adjusted gross income' line showing
    >pay stub showing annual wage
    >bank or investment fund statement showing annual income
    >letter from unemployment benefit agency
    >Social Security/Disability letter
    >SSA 1099

Once we receive your application, we will process it and if approved, we will mail you a voucher to have your pet spayed or neutered at the veterinary clinic you chose when you completed the application. When you receive your voucher in the mail, you then call your veterinary clinic and make an appointment. The voucher will have an expiration date on it, so make sure you call you vet clinic right away.

How many dogs & cats were spayed or neutered on this program in 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009?

West TN Animal Rescue Community Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program was responsible for 1,176 West Tennessee pets being spayed or neutered in 2012! AND... 1,174 in 2011!!! AND 1,146 in 2010!!! AND... 860 in 2009!!!
